8 HOUR STANDARD

This one day course dives into conflict on the job and explains how to turn conflict into cooperation, build trust, and reduce stress by leveraging the science of conflict decision making. Participants learn how curiosity can be used to transform interactions of conflict, and build capacity for engaging conflict in the moment. Participants connect theory and practice to their professional roles and have the opportunity to practice our strategic 3-step communication framework in hands-on, interactive exercises. This course includes short lectures, video analysis, and discussion. The course ends with skills practice through coached role plays and workplace specific scenarios.

16 HOUR IMMERSIVE

This two day immersive course is our most comprehensive offering. It dives deeply into the science of conflict decision making and how curiosity can be used to turn conflict into cooperation, build trust, and reduce stress. This course also includes essential self-awareness competencies so that participants can better manage their own conflict responses when triggered in difficult interactions. This course includes short lectures, video analysis, discussion and participants are immersed in our 3-step communication framework with enhanced skills practice through customized, coached role plays and exercises. At the end of this course participants are prepared to engage conflict with confidence on the job and off.

REFRESHER COURSE

4-Hour Conflict Communication Refresher

This 4-hour refresher is available to teams who have completed our 8-hour standard or 16-hour immersive course and want to stay sharp with the 3-step conflict communication method.

The session includes a brief skills review, with most of the time dedicated to practice scenarios, instructor coaching, and applying the method to real workplace challenges.

Conflict communication skills take practice. This refresher helps participants build confidence, avoid slipping back into old habits, and keep the skills fresh and usable in the moments that matter.

While all of our courses incorporate core concepts from the Insight Approach to Conflict Analysis and Resolution, we work closely with each client to design a fully customized learning experience.
